You're doing all the right things. You have a content marketing strategy that's more than a work of fiction. You're putting aside time to produce useful content which you're placing on quality sites as well as your own. Google Analytics tells you that you're getting plenty of traffic and where it's coming from. And you're capturing leads in exchange for valuable extra content. But how do you know which of your leads are most engaged?
Nurturing leads into clients can be a slow process but you're willing to put in the work. Time is limited though and you could do with some help sifting through all those leads you've been building to know which might be more receptive to your overall proposition.
It turns out that CommsBox gathers quite a lot of information about your leads: when they return to your site (by whatever means), which emails they click through from, which forms they complete, all your contact reports. A lot of data. The trick is to use that mountain of data effectively - so we created a tool we call the engagement report. We use this to guide our activities, to help us refine our messages and tune our automated campaigns. We also use it to identify when we should make a direct, personal contact with someone.
Because engagement isn't a static thing the engagement report continually changes to reflect changes to your message and to your marketing strategy. We didn't just want the current contact engagement, we wanted to know how our leads are evolving so we show you which contacts are getting warmer (your trending leads!) and which are cooling off. For those familiar with LinkedIn, it's similar to their "how you rank for profile views" tool, but for all your leads.
Now we can see in one nice clean report which contacts are most engaged with us. When new entrants make their way up the table we can view that individual's activity report to see where we met them, what if any person-to-person contact we've had and why they are now showing increased interested. Did a specific story spark their interest? Was it something we posted on LinkedIn? Is it something we tweeted?
The engagement report is providing us with invaluable insights into our sales and marketing processes that we hadn't previously appreciated and making us a lot more targeted and efficient.
Being part of CommsBox of course means you could have the same insigntful view of your own contacts!
